The Swedenborg Society is an independent publisher, library and bookshop focused on the work of Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772). The Society also organizes cultural events, lectures, exhibitions and film screenings, exploring Swedenborg’s ideas and his diverse influence.

This blog features regular updates from the Society’s publicist (Nora Foster), our librarian, James Wilson and our assistant librarian, Alex Murray; our current publishing intern Holly Catling is also a regular contributor and our editor/curator Stephen McNeilly will sometimes grace these pages with an update from the office. We also have a facebook page and a Twitter feed and we hope you enjoy hearing news from this historic, if esoteric, institution on the edge of Bloomsbury, London. For more information on the Society please visit the Swedenborg Society website.
